Dot NET Domain Name Registrations

When the Dot NET generic Top-Level Domain was initially set up in 1985, together with the first domain name extensions on the web, it was meant to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure establishments. Since there were no specific regulations about the usage of the TLD, though, .NET domains were acquired and used for diverse purposes and by a lot of people. This extension represents an ideal substitution for dot COM, especially if the desirable domain with the latter domain extension is not free for registration.

Purchasing a dot NET domain with our firm is as easy as pie and takes no more than a couple of minutes, since we work with an ICANN-accredited registrar firm. You can obtain such a domain for a period between 1 and 10 years, or, if you already own a domain, you can move it over to our company and we will renew it when the transfer process is done. Transfers are available for all domains, which are at least 60 days old, provided that they are not locked and that you possess an EPP transfer authorization key – security measures set up by the Registry organization to prevent unauthorized transfers. You can easily change the WHOIS details of the domain through your Control Panel interface, or, if you wouldn't like this info to be public at all, you can order a Whois Privacy Protection service, so nobody will be able to view your actual contact information.

The dot NET domain extension supports internationalized names, so you can choose whether you want to focus on a certain country or territory using a domain name in the local language, or the global online community – using a generic English name.
