WHOIS Privacy Protection

Via the Domain Manager, you can enable an SSL certificate for your domain. With an SSL certificate, all the private details that your clients send via your website (on the order page, via a login form, etc.) will be enciphered and the submitted data will never be endangered.

To order an SSL certificate for your domain, just fill in the required info and then click the Activate button. You can get a generic SSL certificate, which will be valid for one single host, or a wildcard SSL certificate, which will be valid for all the hosts under your domain name.

You can park an active domain name by pointing it to one of our two domain name parking themes – For Sale or Under Construction. The domain parking process is pretty easy and will go into effect instantly. You’ll be able to park as many domains as you need. And if you need to un–park the domain name – you can accomplish this with a click.

Additionally, you can customize our two domain name parking templates using custom messages and images so as to make them more unique.

When registering a domain name, you need to give precise WHOIS info and also to keep it up to date constantly. If you need to change your email or home address, or in case you prefer to transfer the domain name to somebody else, you can accomplish that through the Domain Manager interface.

Just push the Edit WHOIS button beside the domain name in question and then modify the respective registrant, technical and administrative info. When you click the Update button, the modifications will be immediately updated online.

With the Registrar Lock option activated, you can rest confident that your domain is secured from online robbery. Anybody who tries an unapproved domain name transfer will be instantly blocked and the domain transfer request – refused.

In case, at a certain point, you choose to transfer your domain name to a different domain registrar, you’ll be able to unlock it with a click. You will find the domain locking/unlocking option in the Domain Manager section of your Control Panel.

In our Domain Manager you can find an easy–to–use tool, which will allow you to filter out your website traffic according to the visitors’ physical location. With PortGlasgow.Com’s GeoIP redirection tool, you will be able to quickly set up location–based redirections and redirect visitors to various parts of your website. For example, you will be able to send the US visitors to your index page, and the traffic from Spain to a sub–domain – es.your–website.com, for example.

With this user–friendly tool, you no longer need to insert dozens of lines of code in your .htaccess file. Everything is carried out by the tool itself.
